Online Elemental Analyzer – MAYA

Lyncis online analyzer is a radiation-free material elemental composition analytics solution for real-time process control optimization in the mining and mineral processing industry.

The technology provides simultaneous quantitative analysis of bulk material flows directly on the conveyor belt or in pipes. All elements, including the light ones (C, Si, Mg, Al, etc..) can be detected in real-time mode without lab sampling and sample preparation.

Cross belt analyzers are designed to withstand the harsh industrial environment and are used in mining, beneficiation, raw material preparation and product quality control applications by clients in N. America, Europe, and Asia.

Industries

Due to the nature of laser spectroscopy (LIBS) online analyzers successfully used in real-time quantitative analysis of various elements of interest, including the light ones. Besides, parameters such as material moisture, ash, calorific value can be detected.

We operate in the following industries:

Fertilizers (phosphate, potassium, composite NPK – P, K, Na, moisture and others)

Iron and Steal (iron ore and concentrate, sinter mix, limestone, coke -Fe, Si, Ca, Mg, Mn, C, moisture and others)

Refractories ( Mg, Si, Ca, Fe, Al, Cr, B, Mn and others)

Coal (C, ash content, volatiles, moisture – Fe, Al, Si, Mg, Ca…)

Industrial Minerals (quartz, clays, nepheline…)

Base metals (Cu, Al, Co, Mo, Zn and others)

Bauxite and Alumina

Cement (limestone, raw meal – Ca, Si, Al, Fe…)

Main features:

Advanced Data Analytics

Online elemental analyzers are equipped with data processing modules to monitor and learn the material changes during continuous processes.
To ensure accurate and stable measurements comprehensive calibration and data processing algorithms are build using advanced machine learning and chemometrics technics such as PCA/PCR (Principal Component Analysis/Regression), Neural Networks, SVM (Support-vector machine), PLS (Partial least squares regression), Classification algorithms.

Low Cost of Ownership

The analyzer is a self-contained unit with minimal maintenance requirements. Routine maintenance involves only regular air filter replacement and basic laser window cleaning. No spatial licenses or certificates are required to operate the equipment.

Ease of Installation and Operation

Full commissioning service is provided to the customer. The equipment is installed by qualified engineers. Dynamic sample calibration is performed on the location to ensure the accuracy in real-time conditions with existing material streams. The analyzer is installed with user-friendly software which lets the operator perform further operational adjustments and calibrations if required. The stability and quality of analysis can be managed remotely by a performance management system.
Lyncis helps the client with SCADA integration to ensure required automation in process control can be achieved.

Online Elemental Analyzer Software

• Performance monitoring and auto-notification if calibration fine-tuning is recommended.
• Easy addition of new sample points to the calibration
database.
• Remote Control and assistance in monitoring and
adjusting machine performance.
• Full SCADA/PLC integration and networking capabilities
allow the analyzers to be integrated. into any Industry 4.0 and the
